Francis performance Engines enjoyed much success at the last Clubmans Regional Meeting. Bessie Bester put his VW powered by the Francis Performance 20V engine on pole position. Zaahir vd Schyff also qualified 8th, his highest qualifying yet. Bessie Bester finished 2nd and 5th in the heats respectively, with Zaahir vd Schyff grabbing a 2nd overhall in Class C, even though he got stuck in 3rd gear with 1½ laps still to go to finish the race.
